Today I will tell you about a special lunch that I had the opportunity and pleasure to take.

I will introduce the location, namely Casa Del Sole Restaurant. I really like one there, a big plus being the fact that there is a fixed pool in the middle of the yard. I'm a big fan of water, and this place seems to bring you all the peace you need. I could sit on this terrace for hours and not get bored.

Now, coming back down to earth, let me tell you what I ate and how I felt.

After flipping through the menu a few times, I finally made up my mind.

I wanted a pumpkin cream soup for starters, but it wasn't, so I refocused and the final version is this:

  • Cream of fresh mushroom soup
  • Duck stuffed with goat cheese and berry jam.

Until the orders arrived, I could admire the location for a long time. Yes, it really makes you think of a vacation, far away in Italy, considered one of the most beautiful countries.

Although by the time I reached the terrace it was almost full, it emptied slowly, slowly and so it dominated the silence even more and I was able to enjoy the late lunch.

Cream of fresh mushroom soup

It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Before I tasted it, I noticed that it was sprinkled with dill and I said from the beginning, I will clearly like it. It was appreciated that it was fresh dill that accentuated the taste of mushrooms.

In my opinion, the cream soup was a bit thick, but I would object. Otherwise, the taste of mushrooms was perfectly felt, very well emphasized that fresh mushrooms are used. Also the amount is enough. You really feel full, but ready for the second kind.

I should also mention that the soup came with croutons, maybe there could be a little more croutons, because they were really tasty.

Duck stuffed with goat cheese and berry jam

It's one of the dishes for which I will definitely go to Casa del Sole Restaurant.

The duck breast was very to my taste, because it was soft and easy to cut. The goat's cheese felt quite strong, although it was more like a cream, and next to the jam it was perfect.

Here I would make the following remark: the jam was only blueberries and not more berries. It didn't bother me because I'm a big fan of blueberries.

I also liked that it came on the plate and extra portion of blueberry sauce, although there was a lot on the plate.

It is one of the most special combinations of fruits, meat and cheese, which does not necessarily follow the laws of nutrition, but it is extraordinarily good.
