Chicken stew

A very tasty chicken ostropel recipe, from the traditional peasant cuisine.

  • 1/2 chicken - happy chicken Agricola
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 peeled tomatoes
  • parsley
  • salt, pepper to taste

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes


Portion the chicken and brown it in hot oil, on all sides, in a pan with a lid.

When the meat is well penetrated, take it out on a plate. In the remaining oil we put the garlic, the peeled tomatoes cut into pieces, the salt and the pepper.

When the sauce is ready, add the chicken, mix, turn off the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with polenta.

Tips sites


the tomatoes peel very easily if you put them for a few minutes in boiling water;


if you prefer the thicker sauce you can first put a tablespoon of flour in the hot oil and only then add the garlic, a cup of water, the tomatoes and season.
