Cumin soup with paprika is a soup from the Transylvania area.
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- a few slices of bread
Preparation time: less than 15 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Cumin soup with paprika:
Cumin seeds are boiled with a liter of water. Drain.
Bread slices are baked in the oven or on the toaster. I fried them at Panini Maker Breville (https://www.breville-romania.ro/produse/toastere-si-sandwich-makers/panini-maker). Cut into cubes of equal size.
The flour is browned in oil and, when it starts to change color, the paprika is added.
Add a pinch of cumin tea and mix. Add the rest of the tea.
It tastes good with salt and pepper.
Serve with croutons.
