Grilled, shrimps, don’t need hard work and are yummy, they’re the low-carb recipe. Shrimps, therefore, are delicious and crust since they keep of the juices and are entire with the head. They move nicely as the way, but also as an appetizer if you choose to serve them.

This summer to get a barbecue that is different to try out. You can serve the shrimps with a garnish like beans or rice. Skewers are a dinner choice. They can be grilled in the oven while I adore these shrimp kabobs on the grill.

My name is Kevin. My life changed when I realized that healthy living is truly a lifelong journey, mainly won by having a well-balanced diet and enjoying adequate exercise. By experimenting in the kitchen and openly sharing my meals, I learned that healthy eating is hardly boring and that by making a few adjustments, I could design a diet that could help me achieve my personal fitness goals. Our bodies are built in the kitchen and sculpted in the gym.

Tired and bored of eating bland fish by drenching it in condiments? Let’s spice that up with this quick and easy cajun-inspired spicy tilapia!

Tilapia is a colloquial term for mostly a hundred species of cichlid fish. They mainly inhabit freshwaters such as ponds, shallow streams, lakes, and rivers. A few are found in waters with a bit of salinity but not as much as seawater.

This mild-flavored lean fish is a good source of protein and has low fat and sodium content. It also contains essential fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6 that strengthens the heart, joints, and vision. But still, always remember that everything in excess will not be beneficial to your health.

There are a lot of tilapia recipes that you can find online or even in books but this is one of the delicious and versatile dishes that you can do in your own kitchen.

All you need for this recipe is a wild-caught tilapia or other white fish fillet and a few spices that are most likely already available in your pantry.

It is super easy to make this oven-baked tilapia. You just have to mix a couple of ingredients or seasonings of your choice in a bowl then broil or bake the tilapia for a few minutes. It may be a cayenne pepper inspired, lemon-garlic seasoned, or even a sweet and spicy tasting fish depending on what you desire.

Spicy Baked Fish (ready in 20 minutes)

It always surprises me how easy it is to cook fish. This spicy baked fish recipe is prepared and on the table in less than 20 minutes, making it a great, healthy, midweek meal.

The only drawback I find with fish though is that it can be on the bland side. The exception being salmon which I adore and is anything but bland. That’s why I came up with this spicy baked fish dish. All the goodness of fish but with a little kick, too.

As a Brit, I love my fish dipped in batter and deep-fried to perfection. Add some thick chips and a few scraps and I am in heaven. Not so awesome for the waistline though.

This spicy baked fish is not only quick and simple but really healthy, too. It’s baked so there’s no need for tons of fat – just a touch of olive oil is all that is needed.

Spicy Fish Tacos

One of my favorite things about these tacos is the avocado sauce and the pineapple slaw. It makes for a really tropical and yummy mix with a sweet and salty combo.

When you cook your fish, once your filets are baked you can go ahead and break them apart with a fork.

I usually like making my fish tacos with tilapia, but it’s really up to you how you make them. I’ve found even flounder can work great with spicy fish tacos.

And that’s the awesome thing about the kitchen, you can always reinvent things and make them your own. And the treat at the end of all your hard work is that you get to eat your masterpiece.

Who needs lobster? Mussels bring a similar richness to this soup.

Most steamed mussels recipes call for crusty bread on the side. Here, the slices of bread are baked right on top of the mussels. To be sure everyone can enjoy the delicious juices in the bottom of the pans, serve this entrée straight from the cast-iron skillets (use trivets to protect your dining room table).

Easy Family Dinner

Fish tacos may not seem very Thanksgiving-like however, I beg to differ. The menu at the first Thanksgiving undoubtedly featured some type of fish and I know maize had a strong presence that day.

Put them together and you're more than half way to fish tacos!

OK, it might be a bit of a stretch (or a BIG stretch). They probably didn't have a whole bunch of fresh limes laying around or sour cream, but I'm going with it.

You know why? Because there's nothing I like better than homemade tacos and easy Mexican recipes!

There's another major similarity between my easy fish tacos recipe and the first Thanksgiving. That first feast was all about whatever food was fresh and in-season at the time.

The settlers and Native Americans did this out of necessity and, even though modern conveniences have given us a wide variety of food choices no matter the time of year, we should learn from our fresh food forefathers.

Choose locally-grown foods and fresh, as well as sustainable fish, whenever possible.
