Pork neck with mushroom and potato garnish

Beat the neck, pepper, salt and fry in a Teflon pan. Fry on both sides.

Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms, cut them into pieces, put them in the pan with a little oil, add the tomatoes, diced peppers, cleaned, washed and chopped onions, and the green pieces. Leave everything on low heat until the mushrooms are cooked, salt and pepper.

From the peeled and chopped potatoes, potatoes are made. For decoration I prepared two potato roses. Sprinkle chopped greens over the mushrooms.


  • 500 g pork neck
  • green thyme
  • green basil
  • coarse salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoons dry red wine
  • olive oil for greasing
  • 6-8 potatoes
  • a bunch of parsley
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 baked peppers
  1. Season the meat with salt, pepper, thyme and fresh basil.
  2. Sprinkle the pieces of pork neck with a little oil and wine and cover, leaving to soak in a bowl.
  3. During this time, prepare the garnish.
  4. Boil the potatoes, peel them after they have boiled and cooled.
  5. Cut the potatoes into cubes, pass through a little butter and salt, to make a thin, golden crust.
  6. Place the pieces of meat on the grill and after they have penetrated well, serve with a garnish of potatoes and pepper salad.
  7. Garnish with parsley.

Recipe of the day: Baked pork neck with potatoes

The simplest and tastiest steak which satisfies the appetites of all gourmets looking for recipes it is without a doubt the baked pork neck with potatoes. Easy to prepare, with a result that never fails, baked pork neck is the ideal solution for a hearty dinner or an unforgettable lunch.

Baked pork neck with potatoes

Ingredient:

  • 4 pieces of pork neck
  • 5-6 potatoes
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic
  • oil
  • White wine
  • pepper
  • salt
  • Paprika

Method of preparation:

Peel a squash, grate it and slice it. Place the potato slices in a pan in which we pour a little oil.

Put the pork neck over the potatoes. Season everything with salt, pepper and paprika or sweet pepper as you prefer.

Pour a glass of white wine and a little water about half a glass over the pork neck and potatoes. Put the tray in the oven until we can stick the fork in the potatoes.

Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes, remove the tail and grind them in a blender or put them on a large grater.

Garlic cloves are cleaned, washed and crushed, then mixed well with tomatoes. The mixture of tomatoes and garlic is poured into the pan over the neck of the pork and potatoes. We turn off the oven after the pork neck is browned and the tomatoes are cooked.

Baked pork neck with potatoes serve hot with a few pickled cucumbers.
