Rigi Bigi pea rice

Rigi Bigi pea rice

The rice is washed, then boiled in salted water.

After boiling, strain and pass under a stream of cold water.

The peas are boiled, then drained and left to cool.

Onions are cleaned, washed and finely chopped.

Put the onion in hot oil in a saucepan with the vegetables and pepper and cook for a few minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the rice and mix.

Add the peas, mix and leave on the fire for a few more minutes.
