Donuts in vinegar

Donuts in vinegar

Boil water, vinegar, salt, honey, 5 bay leaves, 15 peppercorns.

Cut the donuts in half

Put the donuts in trances in the vinegar mixture. Let each trance boil for 1 minute, so that the donuts soften a little. Take them out in a bowl.

Put in each jar a piece of horseradish, 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1 bay leaf, a few peppercorns, 1-2 cloves of garlic and a little onion.

Fill the jars with donuts, pressing to get as many as possible. Pour over them the warm vinegar juice to fill the jars. Close them with lids.

The jars are kept in the pantry for 2-3 months before use.
