Dessert croissants with lard

"Easter Treats"

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lg sugar
  • 1 lg otet
  • 10 g fresh yeast
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 250 g lard
  • Small pieces of shit
  • Vanilla powdered sugar

Servings: 3

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Dessert donuts with lard:

Sift flour into a bowl. Sprinkle salt on one side and put sugar and crushed yeast in a pit on the other side. Pour the slightly warm milk over the yeast and leave it to activate for 5 minutes. Add the vinegar and lard, then knead on the floured table an elastic dough that can be easily stretched. From kneading by hand, the lard heats up and the dough will be quite soft. Let cool for 30 minutes.

Spread the dough into a thin sheet, then with a serrated knife cut into the right squares. Place a piece of shit on each square and roll it on the corner, forming the croissant.

Place in the pan and put in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C, until they start to brown on the edges. Remove from the oven and so hot, add vanilla powdered sugar.

3 servings means 3 baking trays.


During kneading, add more flour if necessary.


They can also be filled with jam mixed with ground walnuts.
