I discovered the recipe here, http://furnicutzabucatar.blogspot.ro/, thank you Monya, they were delicious !!!
- 2 wafer packs with vanilla (5 fix I used)
- 200 gr peanut butter (I did not use)
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 150 gr milk powder
- 100 gr powdered sugar
- 50 gr grated coconut
Preparation time: less than 30 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE Raffaelo:
I changed the ingredients a bit and gave you exactly what I used. At Monya there was an envelope of vanilla sugar and powdered sugar was not mentioned, I felt the need to add, and I did not use peanuts, so that my little Brigitta could eat, but it can be used. I crushed the wafers, I added the butter at room temperature, the powdered milk, the powdered sugar and the vanilla. And I mixed well, like a dough, not too soft, but not too hard. I formed small balls and rolled them through the coconut, as I told you, you can put a hazelnut, and they are more delicious.
Raffaello candies with powdered milk & # 8211 old recipe
This year I waited for the carolers not with rolls but with cakes. I made cakes you already know, such as wafer with walnuts and caramel or croissants with oats and cream. But also something new like these Raffaello candies with powdered milk following a recipe from my aunt's old recipe book.
Because I knew that this year we would have more carolers, especially children from the high school where my husband teaches, I made several assorted plates on which I put slices of cake with walnuts, snails with jam, croissants with walnuts and jam but also Raffaello candies with powdered milk whose recipe I will write immediately.
The recipe for Raffaello candies with powdered milk I got it from my aunt, as I told you at the beginning. Her old notebook with cake recipes is a real treasure when it comes to looking for recipes as they used to be. Old recipes are always current and always sought after because they are reminiscent of childhood.
And even though I grew up years ago, even if you had a more recent childhood, they still remain childhood recipes because they are passed down from generation to generation. I would say that they are immortal recipes and at least now, around the holidays, they are very popular.

To make Raffaello candies with powdered milk you only need a few ingredients and just a little time to prepare them. It takes longer to form the balls than to make the composition for which, practically, all you have to do is mix the ingredients together and that's it.
For these Raffaello candies we used a confectionery powdered milk and NOT baby milk. Confectionery milk powder can be found in supermarkets or you can order online here.
Raffaelo Cream - It melts in your mouth
Here are the ingredients you need and how to prepare them:
- 1 packet of butter
- 80 gr coconut
- 500 gr condensed milk
- 250 gr white chocolate
Method of preparation:
First, melt the butter and chocolate in a bain-marie. Mix with a wooden or silicone spatula in the kettle. Gradually incorporate condensed milk and coconut. Stir and leave on the fire until it starts to boil. Then remove the kettle from the heat source and let it cool. First take it out somewhere cold (outside, on the balcony), then put it in the fridge for 4-5 hours.
Use Raffaelo cream even with fruit. If you want to decorate the cake with cream, then use it as soon as it has cooled a bit.
Healthy balls with Raffaello type coconut
Healthy balls with Raffaello type coconut, delicious and not containing flour or condensed milk, with a low content of sugar and fat, which can be consumed for example as a healthy Christmas dessert. If you appreciate healthy recipes with coconut, then you have to try this one too - it's really one of my favorites.
They are adored by many people, you will surely find out the reason when you will taste them. Some of you have asked me if we can skip the powdered milk in the recipe. I recommend that you do not omit it, because it gives coconut balls a special, delicious taste. Cane sugar can be replaced with xylitol, resulting in fewer calories and carbohydrates. Thanks to the fact that these coconut balls are richer in fat, they are filling, so you will not consume too much at one meal.
Their preparation is extremely simple and fast, you just have to mix all the ingredients together, knead the resulting crust, shape the balls and give them through grated coconut. Inside each ball you can add a hazelnut or an almond. Healthy coconut balls with Raffaello type with oats lasts for 3-4 weeks if they are kept in the refrigerator in an airtight container, the advantage is that you can prepare them before Christmas and so you can serve them during the winter holidays (this of course if you do not eat them all with your family before Christmas).
Do not use hydrogenated vegetable oils or margarine - artificial "foods" that greatly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is best to prepare balls and other Christmas desserts using classic butter.
