An absolutely delicious mashed potato, a recipe inspired by Jamie Oliver.
I served it with some smoked sausages prepared on the grill. A goodness!

  • 5 potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk

RECIPE PREPARATION Mashed potatoes with sausages:

I peeled the potatoes, washed them, cut them into cubes and boiled them.

I cut the sausages a little from place to place and prepared them on the grill.

I drained the boiled potatoes well and mixed them with the hand-kneading tool (I didn't use the mixer because I didn't want them to become too fine).

I added butter, milk and salt, then I mixed the ingredients.

I served the puree with greens, sausages and definitely a glass of red wine :)

Ingredient:

  • 1,400 kg. - white potatoes
  • 200 ml. - milk
  • 80 gr. & # 8211 unt
  • 1 tablespoon topped - cream cheese or melted cheese
  • Salt
  • 1/5 teaspoon & # 8211 Hot Paprika

Method of preparation:

  1. Peel the potatoes.
  2. Cut them into cubes, put them in a bowl and wash them well under a stream of cold water and then drain them.
  3. Put the potatoes in a large saucepan with cold water.
  4. Transfer the pan to high heat, add a teaspoon of salt and put the lid on.
  5. When the water starts to boil, remove the lid and take the foam off. Let the potatoes simmer for 15-20 minutes or until soft.
  6. When the potatoes are ready, take them off the heat and drain them.
  7. Meanwhile, pour the milk into a saucepan and add the butter. Put the pan on low to medium heat and let it sit until the butter is completely melted.
  8. Crush the potatoes well with a hand strainer, then gradually add the milk and butter mixture, continuing to crush with the sieve. At the end, season with salt, hot paprika, add the cream cheese and stir until the ingredients are incorporated.
  9. Serve the puree with meat, fish, vegetables or simply with a fresh salad. Good appetite!

Mashed potatoes with mashed potatoes - a quick meal!

Moussaka with mashed potatoes is very good looking, rosy, fine and delicious!

INGREDIENT:

-500-600 g of minced meat (pork + chicken)

-50 ml of cream for cooking

-100 g of 20% fermented cream

- granulated garlic - to taste

-salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into pieces and put them in a saucepan. Cover with water and simmer for about 20 minutes, until softened. About halfway through the cooking time, salt them to taste.

2. Meanwhile, clean and cut the onion into cubes. Fry it in a small amount of hot oil until lightly browned.

3.Put the minced meat in a deep bowl. Season with salt, ground black pepper and knead well with your hands. Add it to the pan with the fried onion and cook until it is semi-cooked (for about 3 minutes, stirring frequently).

4. Drain the water from the pan with the boiled potatoes. If they are watery, you can dry them a little, heating them over low heat.

5. Grind the boiled potatoes with the mashed pot. During this process add the soft butter, the heated sweet cream, the granulated garlic and the nutmeg.

6.After the mashed potatoes become homogeneous and cool slightly, gradually add (one by one) the eggs in it and mix very well, using a fork.

P.S. If you notice that the mashed potatoes have lumps, you can pass it through a strainer to homogenize it.

7.Put the cheese through the large grater.

8. Assemble the musacaua. We prepared it in a round tray with a diameter of 20 cm. I lined the bottom of the tray with baking paper, and greased its walls well with butter and sprinkled them with breadcrumbs.

9. Spread half of the mashed potatoes evenly on the bottom of the tray. If you want, you can add 2/3 of the puree to the first layer, making it thicker.

10.Prepare the potato layer with a thin layer of grated cheese.

11. Spread the whole meat composition evenly over the first layers. Sprinkle with a little grated cheese.

12. The last layer will be the remaining mashed potatoes.

13.Mix the remaining cheese with the fermented cream. Grease the surface of the muscat with the resulting composition.

14. Bake the moussaka for 30-35 minutes, until it browns nicely, in the preheated oven up to 200 ° C.

15. Let it cool for 5-7 minutes in the pan. Then separate it from its walls with a thin knife. Take it out of the pan. Portion and serve.

Champ, mashed potatoes with sour cream and onion

Champ is a mashed potato, a little different from the classic Romanian one. When you want to vary, prepare it like this: with a 48% fat cream (I make it by mixing mascarpone with a regular one) and finely chopped green onions. Season with pepper, otherwise put the known ingredients. The proportions matter and the floury white potatoes are suitable. Therefore, it is served as a side dish to meat dishes or eaten with a salad (or, in Romanian, pickles). I served this puree as a garnish for the sticky chicken with lemon.

INGREDIENTS
1 kg of floury white potatoes
salt (high if you have)
freshly ground pepper
30 g butter
6-8 green onion threads
100g sour cream 48%
100 ml whole milk (or as fat as possible) + a little more if needed

PREPARATION
1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Rinse them afterwards. Cut them into cubes and put them in a pot of cold water and 1 teaspoon of salt.
2. Put them on high heat, and when they start to boil, reduce the heat to medium. They will boil for about 15-20 minutes (depending on the variety). The fork should fit easily into them. You taste it.
3. Drain the water well, pouring it into the pasta sieve.
4. Crush the potatoes by hand with the mashed potatoes together with the butter and finely chopped onion (I never pass them to the robot because it becomes a sticky, elastic and unappetizing mass).
5. Heat the milk and cream in the kettle to bring to a boil. Pour and mix with a fork or spoon. If the mixture is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of milk.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Taste!

Peel a squash, grate it and boil it in hot water. After three quarters of an hour, take the pot off the heat and make a regular puree, pouring over the potatoes a cup of milk and a tablespoon of butter. Salt the puree to taste and set aside.


The minced meat is mixed with the two onions, with a slice of bread soaked in cold water and cooked in hot oil. Allow the juice of the meat to drop, then remove from the heat, add the egg and mix with the necessary salt and pepper.


Grease a pan with high walls with butter, put a layer of puree, then a layer of meat and cover with puree. At the end, cover the puree with spicy or sweetened tomato sauce and put the pan in the oven and keep it for an hour, at the right heat.

How to prepare: Green beans hold a pair (20 min), cool and cut in a blender. Fish fillets are washed, shredded, or in a blender or grinder. In a small bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped fish and green beans. Add egg, olive oil, parsley (if you have a fresh - finely chop), lemon juice. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Today we want to offer you an interesting recipe, which was once popular in some countries and remains current in Latvia and Lithuania. Potato sausages are a simply unforgettable culinary dish!

-700 g of minced pork

-salt, spices - to taste.

1. First you have to grind the potatoes, onions and garlic. You can use a large grater, meat grinder or food processor.

2. Set aside the bowl with the chopped vegetables. You have to wait until they release their juice.

3. Meanwhile, cut the bacon into cubes. If you prepare minced meat at home, then do the same.

4. Mix the chopped vegetables very well with the bacon and the minced meat. Add salt and spices to taste.

5. Prepare artificial mats or membranes and utensils for filling them.

6. After you have prepared the sausages, prick them in places with a thick needle, so that they do not crack during baking. The more small stings you make, the better.

7. Bake the potato sausages for about 45 minutes in the preheated oven to 180 ° C‌. Then reduce the oven temperature to 160 ° C‌ and continue to bake for another 20 minutes. And at the end, increase the temperature to 200 ° C for 5 minutes, so that it browns nicely.

8. Serve the potato sausages with fermented cream or kefir! They do not require gasket.

2 large red onions
150g raisins
1 l black beer (I used Ursus)
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil

For mashed potatoes:
800g potatoes
200g milk
200g butter
Salt to taste

Method of preparation:
We clean and wash the chicken.

Peel and chop the onions.

Heat oil in a saucepan.

Put the chicken in the hot oil and fry it on both sides, until it browns.


After the meat has browned, take it out in a strainer.

In the oil in which we fried the meat, put the red onion to harden.

When the onion becomes glassy, ​​add the fried chicken to the pan beforehand.

Add the raisins.

Add dark beer, just enough to cover the chicken well.


Season with salt and pepper to taste.

After I put all the ingredients in the pan, let it boil for about 45 minutes - 1 hour, until the beer drops and a sauce begins to form.

It is an extraordinary recipe, I wholeheartedly recommend it. This wonderful chicken with beer goes very well with mashed potatoes.

After boiling, drain the water, add butter, salt, milk and grind until a puree is formed.
