Preparation of fresh or frozen pan-fried vegetables

In short: I used 1 carrot, 1 capsicum, 2-3 bunches of cauliflower and frozen broccoli and 2 coats of frozen peas. I cut the carrot into narrow strips and the capsicum into wider pieces.

I took the peas as a landmark for cooking. It lasted 3-4 minutes until the peas were cooked (it feels like it changes its taste and becomes sweet). At one point a puddle of water formed in the pan from the frozen vegetables but it evaporated quickly.

I salted everything now, I also ground some black pepper on top. I added a piece of cold butter and 2 cloves of crushed garlic and turned off the heat. Whoever is fasting puts a tablespoon of olive oil instead of butter.

Ready! I have some very fine, colorful and textured pan-fried vegetables. It can be seen that the broccoli and peas remained in the original bright green color and that the peppers are still red and fine.

DELICIOUS, HEALTHY AND LITTLE CALORED LUNCH

One of my favorite foods since childhood is peas. With any kind of meat :). I remember that when I was little and hated the taste of chicken liver (I still don't kill myself for it), my mother would cut it into small pieces and hide it in pea food. I do the same with Vladut, who inherited from me the pleasure of eating peas and aversion to the liver, regardless of his origin :).

Peas fall into the category of legumes or starchy vegetables, because they contain more starch than regular vegetables, such as broccoli or salad. Peas are also rich in protein, which is why it is indicated in the diet of vegetarians or those who fast. It also contains a significant amount of vitamin K, fiber, iron and has anti-inflammatory properties. I also like it because it has a high degree of satiety and, due to the starch it contains, it reduces my craving for sweets.

The other day I quickly prepared a cod fillet with peas for lunch, a very healthy, nutritious combination, very easy to prepare and low in calories. I chose organic peas from d’aucy, accessible and very tasty. There is also the version of canned fine peas, just as good in taste and very creamy. The advantage of d’aucy products is that everywhere in Europe, the quality of the final product is the same, there are no differences. If you prefer other vegetables with fish, you can also choose the mix of green beans with yellow beans from d’aucy, over which you can pour a little garlic sauce. Or, for more complex tastes, mix Mexican, corn, spinach, beets, chickpeas, or lentils.

I'll be back for lunch! The peas are ready, so I added a cube of butter and stirred on low heat for 1-2 minutes. I made the code in the oven, on a bed of onions and bell peppers. I simply prepared it with salt, basil, rosemary, lemon, water and a little oil. A balanced meal, ready quickly, healthy and low in calories!
