When spring comes, I can't resist not doing it. They are very good and I would eat unknowingly.

RECIPE PREPARATION New french fries:

Why are french fries not recommended in a healthy diet?

  • Potatoes fried in oils are extremely harmful because they contain starch, and the fats burned around the starch generate a highly neurotoxic and carcinogenic substance called acrylamide. The allowed daily dose of acrylamide is 1 mg, and when fried it generates around 20 mg. Also, if we use non-fried fats, such as sunflower oil, other toxic compounds are generated (trans polyunsaturated fatty acids), and the damage becomes even greater because they decompose quickly and oxidize.
  • French fries are hypercalorogenic foods. The problem is that most of these calories are the so-called "empty calories", ie those that release energy, but no longer contain minerals and vitamins essential for maintaining health.

Our advice is not to limit yourself only to the superficial and unhealthy level, of fast-food type, of french fries, but try to rediscover the taste of boiled or baked potatoes. Prepare the flavored butter first.
